Getting starting weapons is a bit of grind but they've implemented it well IMO and the Boss Fights are very difficult although that's just a skill issue on my part.

But the more you play, level up, gain experience, try different weapons, and create your own build, it definitely picks up.

And co-op is where the game really shines - teaming up adds chaos and extra fun that help offset some of the quirks.

The graphics are simple but adequate and look to be accessible to a wide range of system specs.

Visually still holds up against newer titles and the sound design really makes you run immediately towards certain weapons as soon as you see them drop.
