On paper, the basic premise of the story is pretty cool, in that it effectively lets you become your very own version of Connor MacLeod (of "Highlander" fame); a badass immortal living across the span of centuries, seeing & experiencing things no one person could ever hope to manage within a single lifetime - seriously, how could you go wrong with such a format..?
