I highly, *highly* recommend at least playing through all of the different branches to the last Death Card (the completion cards) at the very least in each card set (the Spade of each card) because all of those different branches, even though they ultimately won't "happen" in the true ending, seeing them is so thematically and narratively appropriate for spoilery reasons I shan't divulge.

The soundtrack of the game is also excellent in my opinion and really adds to the atmosphere of this being a cryptic Death Game with lots of mystery, suspense and unknowns.
