What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Absolutely delightful. 29 levels (15 in the main plot, plus 14 bonus ones) plus a freeform editor so you can create new challenges for yourself.
Really most of the Zachtronics catalog will interest you, but this game in particular is an amazing (if not somber given that the studio closed down) entry point for new players, loads of variety on offer, cool visuals, easier to get into and enjoy than say TIS100.
The gameplay looks like Nonogram where you have to fill empty spaces in a grid to make a pattern, albeit more complex.
Amazing soundtrack btw
My only complaint is that the final couple of levels require such a high level of optimization that you pretty much need to consult a guide to figure out some of the sneaky tricks if you aren't a literal IRL engineer; if you don't get very clever with your use of modules in the endgame you'll run out of space before even getting half of the puzzle sorted out.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No recurring complaints surfaced in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 3 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
