Gameplay wise, it is really there just to give you a source of acorns (currency) to prepare for the challenges of chapter 2.

I loved this game at first, it reminded me a lot of alice in wonderland. the story was so cute and magical, full of creativity and fun dialogues with charming characters and exploring was super enjoyable, plus making potions made everything even better. however i was disappointed that all of that was basically just the intro or tutorial, bc once the game really starts it turns into a pretty boring and repetitive dungeon crawler. i really wish the whole game had stayed like the beginning, just exploring beautiful places, meeting unique characters and creating potions with different uses. its a shame they put all that aside for an endless and tiring dungeon, plus the turn based combat is pretty boring and makes the game feel even slower. and every time you leave the dungeon you have to start again from the first floor, i believe its like that in every layer until you reach some kind of checkpoint, and that makes everything feel even slower and more repetitive. i loved the game and the graphics, but if i could i would give it a neutral recommendation, bc the positive parts were left behind and replaced with too many negatives that hurt the experience. still it might be worth it if you enjoy repetitive dungeon crawlers that are kinda roguelike!!
