Technically, the game makes strong use of lighting, shadows, and visual distortion to heighten immersion.
There's one (very) mildly exciting piece of gameplay in the park where a clown "chases" you (slowly) around the park while you're trying to get a fuse and start a ride and get bolt cutters to open up a locked chest, but even that part was kind of lame.
