The game's Anniversary Update, released in late 2024, significantly enhanced the graphics and performance, especially for the Meta Quest 3 platform, making environments more detailed and effects more polished.
Also performance was iffy at times as I did have some frame rate drops, although I increased the graphics which I probably shouldn't have on my RTX 3080.
