What players think
The recurring themes across 180 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
It's an okay experience, the core gameplay loop is rather fun but the balancing is a bit off, it takes a bit of time to get your first few units but after getting around 30 it just becomes trivial to just spam buy units forever, and with the lack of enemy ai difficulty scaling the game generally just becomes a cakewalk after a few minutes
It has incredibly realistic graphics for such a great price with the green grass plane and pill-shaped dogs.
Up until now, the "main series" dogpet games have been strictly turn-based RPGs following a young protagonist on a quest to become a powerful dogpet trainer.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No themes split opinion in this sample.
No recurring complaints surfaced in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. One more theme was raised by fewer than 4 sampled reviews and is not shown.
