I'll take a brief moment to mention the quote on quote "non essentials" of this game (i.e. music, art, and things like that), then I'll move on to the gameplay elements, design choices, and inspirations further below.
Some players appreciate the vibrant and dynamic visuals, while others feel the aesthetic lacks consistency.
Sound effects: They work, they don't feel weirdly out of place, so they work well enough.
But overall, each run feels like a new adventure with good potential and each level contains two boss characters, one mid-level and one at the end.
