The Lonesome Guild

If you're looking for a cozy action adventure game, with an interesting and often surprisingly emotional and serious narrative that's carried by funny, lively characters - yes, absolutely.

There's also a decent balance between combat and puzzle segments, with neither being too challenging - even playing on hard mode.

I like the concept of skill points in this case being friendship points, which can be acquired by becoming closer to each individual character.

The visuals are lovely, with scenery looking like they have been captured straight out of a picture book (I would love to be able to hide the UI to take some proper screenshots; especially at the designated scenic viewpoints).

The combat difficulty feels nicely balanced, too; usually nothing too intense for random encounters, but bosses and a handful of certain enemies usually require my full attention and have ended in a couple of close calls.

The character portraits are expressive and the overworld is colorful but the character design is what really caught my attention (The flying rabbits are called Bumblebuns, I love it).
