Among its strong points are some of the interesting mechanics it implements (like the different types of elemental damage / resistances and the critical effects that each of them causes, or the fights against the different bosses) and that it offers a good variety of turrets, weapons, characters and upgrades withouth being overly complex (in fact it's quite easy to learn).

The character design is great, the art is great, and I love the OST, they really made an amazing soundtrack for Endless dungeon that I have found myself listening to out of game often, Free Again is a banger.

I also saw a review claiming the music was inferior to the original, which must have been posted by someone who hadn't played the original in quite some time because the soundtrack is basically a remastered version of it with new additions to boot.
