The Use of Life

The story isn't groundbreaking but it's still effective and you still want to see where the characters end up toward the end.

Once you get used to the timing of the Dodge mechanic, it becomes incredibly satisfying.

Combat can feel tiresome if you don't like QTEs (quick time events) but with this embedded into the combat, it feels sort of like an action game blended with a strategy game and it feels fresh in the realm of turn-based RPGs.

I'll more than likely put this up with one of my favorite story-rich games. not only is the combat fun(only done a magic build so far.) but the fights are well-designed with Difficulty options that can make your Playthrough as smooth as butter without having to worry to much about the gauge system.

I'm not going to touch on everything, but I feel the game's turnbased combat has a lot of strategy in selecting how you will act and react along with a good amount of player expression in how you build your character and how much you pay attention/how good your reflexes are.

The story is really good and doesn't feel like it has obviously good or evil options, the combat is extremely fun and well balanced on Normal, and I love the art style.
