Evil Tonight

The story for the most part is good it has good buildup and a very good mystery with plenty of notes that paints a sad story of the antagonist and what she went through, but there is one big problem with the story, but I'll get to that in the dislikes.

Reasonable length indie game with good controls, decent gameplay, challenging puzzles, a nice save system and good customizability.

Melee combat aside, I do think this game is a very solid product and even with the melee combat being what it is, the controls are quick and responsive enough that combat is always a joy even if I do get my ass kicked by a boss a dozen times before finally taking her down.

Now that I told you all this, Evil Tonight is a very good horror action adventure game and another great game by DYA Games the same people that made Viviette and Bot Vice, it has very good gameplay, really good pixel graphic art style and really good enemies and bosses.

The artwork is, as always, top notch - DYA has never failed to impress me there - as is the music and sound design.

You absolutely have to use a controller for this, but it feels pretty crisp and easy to manipulate when you're in combat, and I think that's what counts.
