A Guidebook Of Babel is a relatively simple puzzle game with a strong emphasis on telling a complete story - the primary mechanic of "rewriting" elements in the world to change future events is interesting but left a bit to be desired in that most puzzles require only one of these, and the game will not let you rewrite anything but the correct object for any given quest.
While the gameplay doesn't rise to the difficulty, complexity, or immersion of other similar puzzle narratives, Babel's charming art style, character design, and sound design all leave a very positive impression.
