What players think
The recurring themes across 112 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Each of the four characters is beautifully hand drawn and glides across the screen in unique ways, usually aligned to their elemental property.
I also must add that the visuals are absolutely gorgeous, there's so many beautiful vistas and backdrops with tons of variety.
4 Player Co-Op is a fun inclusion, but the restriction to make it local only and some negative implications it has on progression systems make it a haphazard implementation at best...
The voice acting varies from decent to very good and each character sounds quite different.
Gamepad works fine, the animations are amazing (it looks like a Don Bluth cartoon), but combat feels a bit off.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway.
