What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
I'm kind of shocked to see anyone praising the story.
As a result, there are a few different paths you can take, and the game offers significant replayability as a result.
The voice acting here is solid and is supported by writing that is very polished and thoughtful.
The graphics are pretty decent for this style of game, and especially nice when you consider how old the original game actually is.
It also runs perfectly on a Steam Deck (I played this almost exclusively on the Deck).
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 2 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
