Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered

Even this early on, the gameplay loop is exactly how I remember it:

I highly recommend starting with the movie to fully immerse yourself and appreciate the story.

The graphics aren't the best, even with the remaster, but they stay true to the movie and recreate the original characters well.

The writing and voice acting remain a highlight — hearing the original actors again is a big part of why this game still works.

Levels are pretty good with slow bits to build up tension and explore for artifacts for money, then get into combat where you fight ghost or scan them for money and weaknesses, which you buy upgrades(Don’t buy the scanner stuff until you got everything else).

Character models — especially the Ghostbusters themselves — look better than I expected, and the proton stream effects are still the star of the show.
