What players think
The recurring themes across 40 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
What you get are likeable Game Boy style graphics, the unmistakable Suits&Sandals art style, a lovely 8-bit chiptune soundtrack, thoughtful and challenging level design, nasty monster girl bosses, as well as several game modes with top scores and best times.
The game also starts super easy, but has a very well plotted increase in difficulty, with some later stages posing genuinely hard, but gratifying, challenges.
At first the level design seemed solid, but really plain, but the game picks up a lot from World 2 onwards, making use of mechanics that are more uncommon in this sort game such as long chains of jumping on midair enemies, hazardous platforms, vertical design, etc.
