Haven't progress much but the story is good so far and it made me kept going to see some more (Love me some good'ol fantasy story).
Combat feels good if a little easy (very generous parry when two attacks collide).
Gameplay and mechanics aren't complicated which is good for lil' old me that's trying a new game genre so I'm happy for that as well.
It brings back some nostalgia for me with its art style that really got my dopamine hitting which just keeps me continuing to play some more.
visuals are amazing. character sprites are hand-drawn and the environment has so much detail yet somehow it doesnt look overwhelming. platform placement looks natural because they're all attached to background objects in some way. audio is great too. i wasnt expecting voice acting, but all the characters sound nice. sound design is pretty satisfying.
Plays amazing (both keyboard and controller, nice to have options that both feel good to play).
