The perfect Dodge mechanic was pretty forgiving in my opinion and overall made me enjoy this more than a good bit of other Metroidvania combat options.

Combat is alot of fun, my only criticism being that spears should not have the same moveset as the swords, those should have been unique thrusting animations like other castlevania games.

Personally, I wasn't really a fan of Metroidvania-type games but this one managed to pull me in with it's interesting visuals, detailed sprite designs, and a beautiful yet epic soundtrack as you slay enemies!
