The overall game story structure and most of the art and music style closely matches Secret of Mana, which is a big win in my book.

At time of writing, there's some small visual bugs (layering in certain sections, namely the snow area), and only one incomplete side quest (because the item isn't usable.) The best parts of the game are the combat, actually being a two player game, not being too long or too much of a grind while still offering a lot of diversions and running around to do.
