But as I kept playing the story started progressing faster and I became more invested in ridding this hotel of all its staff and occupants.
The story is brilliant, the many characters are well built, the graphics and the music are remarkable.
It will mostly involve procuring stuff in creative ways, interacting with surrounding environment the way it’s never meant to be done, making something up by using your inventory, lots of ever-helpful talking, and a few randoms like riddles.
While the potential of creating 80s-inspired soundtrack for such game is pretty much limitless, the (most likely budget-related) decision to settle into joyful, easy tunes is understandable and fit in well with the rest of the game.
My play time was almost 12 hours so I thought it was well worth the price for gameplay time and quality.
