What players think
The recurring themes across 222 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The story/lore/ambience is pretty standard fare for the genre.
When I laid my eyes upon The Tarnishing of Juxtia, I knew I had to try it out; I adored its colourful, pixelated visuals, as well as its promise of delivering a 2D action RPG with dark-ish fantasy themes.
The game is not without it's flaws however, the biggest one being the lack of music in most places, which is a real big shame as the soundtrack is really good when it does play (during bosses and some arena's).
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. One more theme was raised by fewer than 5 sampled reviews and is not shown.
