If you're playing this co-op (which I recommend), let the weaker player do the shadow avatar; the light avatar needs to do precision double jumps, which is often harder to achieve.

What I like most about this game is the light/dark puzzle mechanic, which is simple to use- press shift to switch your character between light and shadow.
