There are three modes of play, and the first is Story Mode, where the protagonist pursues four love interests, trying to confess his interest in her while dealing with mobs of boy-crazy females.
Normally, in a remaster, you would expect better graphics, additional content, and other technical improvements, but Gal*Gun Returns hardly does that.
This has always been a problem, but with the increased difficulty and lack of affection % feedback or success criterias for minigames in GGR, it's a chronic problem.
