Though the puzzling itself is not particularly hard and the clues are rather easy to find, the game complements this with lots of story tidbits about the manor, inhabitants and the particular timeframe around the 19th century.
Having played "The Witness" some time ago, the gorgeous graphics style immediately reminded me of it, but in this game I find it even more "easy on the eyes".
The game encourages you to pay attention rather than brute-force your way through, and when a plant finally blooms under the right conditions, the sense of accomplishment comes not from difficulty but from the satisfaction of connecting ideas.
The gameplay itself is pretty simple and quite fun, with rewarding puzzles and a peaceful atmosphere.
The atmosphere is lovely, and the music and sound effects does a lot to enhance the setting.
