Huge improvements over the previous game and a story full of emotions
It's cool and fun to play; even after 30 hours of gameplay, I still do not find it boring, which is one of the main reasons why I stop playing other JRPGs.
The first game's soundtrack was an absolute masterpiece and probably one of the best video game soundtracks ever made, but unfortunately it didn't get enough recognition due to the game itself not being very successful.
I am a huge fan of the urban fantasy magical girl aesthetic and Second Light only expands on the first game in this regard with the improved world detail and upgraded visuals that bring it more in line with the recent Atelier games.
Personally found this game to be very poorly optimized, does not utilize GPU properly leading to heavy crashing when my machine overheated
