Labyrinth City: Pierre the Maze Detective

The maze design for each stage is well-crafted and some with interesting mechanics, for example, the Haunted Manor has a shifting maze mechanic while the Black Market has a timed mechanic.

In this regard, it’s kinda like Professor Layton titles, except the story doesn’t even attempt to take itself too seriously and focuses on just being fun and evoking the feeling of adventure.

I think fans of the book will have no complaints with how the graphics turned out as it seems pretty faithful to the source material.

Discussing the positives, first of all, the game itself looks very well with a fine soundtrack as we try to figure out which path we should pick up to reach the objective, making it somewhat of a relaxing experience as it does not take too much time to pass each level.

The controls are responsive, objectives are easy to understand, and the overall difficulty remains approachable throughout the adventure.

You can still navigate with keyboard and mouse since it’s only maze but you will definitely want to use a controller instead.
