A quest with happy endings
A fresh approach to the already over-saturated market of lower-budget puzzle games, Happy Quest delivers by bringing a new type of match-3 with very satisfying gameplay.
Visuals-wise, the backgrounds are beautiful and vibrant, and the characters are downright stunning.
Accompanied by some happy waltz music and rewarding sound effects, each girl has three battles which unlocks their scene, which can be accessed by the main menu.
At no point did I feel frustrated, and although there was definitely a difficulty spike, it wasn't annoying and despite my hiccups in overcoming some of the barriers, I still ended up needing to do the endless Challenge mode a few times to finish maxing out my abilities and stats.
