This well-rounded remastered edition improves graphics, music, and controls, while also restoring a lot of content that was cut from the original.
Probably some other minor issues to fix, but the sound and dialogue audio is amazing, along with the music.
It's well worth playing even today, if you like oldschool gameplay.
- Excellent music and sound effects (mostly)
The game handles a controller well (god knows how they crammed this thing onto an N64 cartridge, but it *was* there at some point) but not perfectly---I had to remap lock on away from the shoulder buttons because the triggers next to them are how you shoot and I only have so many fingers.
Also, I played a good chunk of it on Steam Deck - it runs perfectly.
