Shadow Man Remastered

Exploring them felt extremely rewarding to me - very often I noticed an opening or ledge that seemed unreachable, but eventually discovered a way to get there and found a collectible.

The atmosphere is incredible and at times truly disturbing, even with N64 graphics.

There are no boring expositions, and the story overall is great and succinct, with a nice twist near the end.

Your attention to details and layout is rewarded with powers that prolong your life, affect your weapons, and open up previously locked parts of the level.

The sound design is excellent, but sometimes background tracks and ambient sounds fade into the line reads in weird ways.

The game handles a controller well (god knows how they crammed this thing onto an N64 cartridge, but it *was* there at some point) but not perfectly---I had to remap lock on away from the shoulder buttons because the triggers next to them are how you shoot and I only have so many fingers.
