What players think
The recurring themes across 59 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Now the likes, the story is really good with plenty of great twists and turns, a pretty diverse set of characters and a very good mystery with a nice set up that pulls you in and keeps you guessing till the end.
The gameplay is very good it's a mixture of term based combat with a bit of virtual novel and exploration thrown into the mix, the turn-based combat was good each character has their own unique abilities and attributes that can help in increasing their power, removing debuffs or giving buffs.
-Very stylized visuals with small splashes of color in a black and white environment
While combat is a relatively rare occasion in the game, the system is very well done.
I found the hard difficulty to be extremely well balanced as most fights tested me without being endurance slugfests or RNG hopes.
The soundtrack reinforces the mood with somber, ambient pieces that heighten the sense of melancholy and dread.
