Honestly, 00 was a hard read emotionally after such a long time away from MLA and the original story that moved me so much.
The sound design complements this minimalism perfectly: soft mechanical hums, the echo of distant footsteps, and the faint murmurs of the ocean outside replace the bombastic soundtrack of earlier Muv-Luv entries.
I like to think that this is a genuine attempt at making something good, but at the end of the day the price is doubled from that of Alternative at half the gameplay, half the story quality, and one tenth of the simple things like UI quality.
