it's originally for 2-8 players, but you can play this version alone with a single marker, against 3 levels of ai opponents, real people, or online against random individuals or steam buddies. solo is surprisingly fun, just loop around on your own and see how far online acquaintances got, but the real meat of the game lies in multiplayer.
