honestly, it really, really pains me to give a negative review to this, but after beating the game i'm left feeling rather disappointed. the core gameplay is quite fun and fresh, and the aethsetic does have a lot of personality to it- playing the demo made me very excited to see what else was in store. however, unfortunately, this early access version feels insanely undercooked, and i don't think it's worth the price point. i managed to beat the early access in around 4 hours (there was a bit of side content i skipped but i wasn't exactly speedrunning it either, i spent quite a lot of time backtracking) and didn't really enjoy much of it. it's janky, feels pretty empty, and has a lot of frustrating and confusing design. there were a lot of moments when i was genuinely questioning whether something was supposed to be a placeholder, or if that was just how it was intended to be. i know, it's early access, but at the current pace i can't fathom how this game will go from this to a finished product in 1 year like it says on the store page. like i said, it pains me to say this, because i see a lot of potential in this game, and i truly hope it can improve over the course of its early access life cycle, but for now i can't recommend this. if you really really liked the demo maybe give it a shot, but be warned that there really is not that much more interesting or fun stuff in the game past the point where the demo ends.
- Most encounters are too easy though, and can end up feeling repetitive.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway.
