What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
While the graphics are not the most stunning, they still get the job done and the gameplay more than makes up for it.
High Entropy: Challenges is essentially a cross-over between Alpha Prime and Trajectory, combining the intuitive puzzle-platforming aspects of the latter with the unforgiving gunplay of the former.
The game features many levels of increasing difficulty that really put my brain to the test.
The atmosphere and graphics are pretty dope, and I love the sound desgin and retro computer aesthetics.
The movement style is still a bit janky, but the inventory system has been completely overhauled - every item has its place in the coloured columns of the inventory, and it is way more pleasing to look at than the black and white mess it was before.
Personally, the coolest thing in this game is that it teaches you linux without bombarding you with random codes and whatnot.
