Tribal Hunter

I love the game mechanics and I obviously love the popping menu, it is always on for me.

The story is actually nice and gets even better at the end.

All throughout this game I was surprised by the difficulty and the massive (pun intended) amount of detail put into these characters and making them important, challenging, and cute all at once without compromise.

The artwork is gorgeous, the character designs are adorable (though it may be a bit too easy to tell who's a backer's fursona), what writing the game has is quick, punchy, nonintrusive and charming and there are zero songs in the soundtrack that go below decent.

I love the map design, reminds me of Yoshi's island art style.

Many of them feature overwhelming projectile spam (Crystal Golem and Katsu for example) or wonky and awfully large contact hitboxes (Darkdread in particular.) My favorites were easily the Pirate Dragon, Queen Bee and Ghost bosses, as many interesting mechanics were present during each of their fights.
