What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The story is actually nice and gets even better at the end.
Slick gameplay, nostalgic Bomberman-esque soundtrack, and adorable artwork.
The artwork is gorgeous, the character designs are adorable (though it may be a bit too easy to tell who's a backer's fursona), what writing the game has is quick, punchy, nonintrusive and charming and there are zero songs in the soundtrack that go below decent.
I love the map design, reminds me of Yoshi's island art style.
I played using a gamepad, and I spent almost the entire game wishing that items were selected in the pause menu, so that I had a dedicated trigger button for each spell type.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No recurring complaints surfaced in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 3 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
