What players think
The recurring themes across 228 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The story is much more fleshed out and compelling with different characters, races, and unique locations to it than the first game had.
So after 21 hours I can say the game is flowing nicely, and the gameplay loop is a lot of fun -- I've also now unlocked what appears to be access to more (community made) worlds, and the ability to make your own.. which should make for a good deal of replayability, not to mention good old GM-ing fun..
The lighting can get genuinely shockingly great for a game with this art style- one rune puzzle especially stood out.
A good amount of love has been given in the making of the soundtrack, influenced by contemporary folk bands I follow such as Wardruna and Heilung.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 2 more themes were each raised by fewer than 5 sampled reviews and are not shown.
