IMO, you'll likely get around 40-50 hours of "fresh gameplay" experiences out of the current build, depending on how much time acceleration you use and how much patience you have for long, slow terraforming processes.
Long story short - good premise, but seriously something has to be done about the micromanagement that you have to do.
Stuttering: I'm running a fairly good gaming rig, but the fact that stuttering/lag occurs during later-game periods (especially in locations with a lot of active building projects) regardless of graphics settings leads me to believe that there's something in the code itself that isn't handling complex systems at a very optimized level.
Something like a software version of the board game High Frontier, where you're racing other parties by choosing which high-level risks you want, making tough decisions on the rockets you want to build, and building a complex ecosystem of interlocking dependent production chains that make factory games so compelling.
