From the outset, it’s clear that this title is meant to appeal to a niche audience—those who appreciate low-budget indie projects that mix fan-service aesthetics with simple, arcade-style gameplay.
Neon Genesis Evangelion has a cult following of people writing essay upon essay of symbology and metaphor analysis trying to squeeze out any form of coherence out of the series because their minds cannot grasp that under the stunning visuals and Misato waifu baiting, there is no rhyme nor reason.
The story is just amazing, lengthy and very well written. and character writing is at it's peak with this game.
The difficulty level made sure that i never felt out of my depth whilst still allowing me to have a challenging and fun experience.
The soundtrack alternates between electronic beats and ambient tension tracks, helping sustain momentum during battles.
With a Ryzen 3700X and RX 5700XT combo I've averaged a blazing 420 fps at 1080p.
