The draw of the game is ultimately in its impressive gameplay, and it IS impressive.
The sound design makes me think of my old SNES gaming days and is full of charm, though the music itself can get a little repetitive.
- Pleasant art style with minimal reuse of sprites.
So while the combat interface evokes a lot of Into the Breach comparisons because of what it looks like (seeing everything that's going to happen and in the exact order and then making choices about how to respond optimally), really the best case scenario is just setting up your characters in the best formation in turn 1 and then letting it ride as an auto-battle.
