What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Pros: Jack is probably my favorite protagonist so far, he is very ''one dimensional'' but it makes sense and his personality can be very entertaining, Jack is me when I watch shows/movies telling characters to just DO SOMETHING, I loved the combat I think it's very good and the parrying or soul shield can be so fun to use, multiple difficulties that expand in DLCs, CO-OP is AMAZING and probably where most of my fun came out, I loved playing with my friends, there's TONS of builds and classes for whatever playstyle you have, I really liked the flavor text of monsters when you feed them, lots of replayability, no missable achievements, soundtrack is good and it has Frank Sinatra too!
Gameplay/combat is pretty good coming from the Ninja Gaiden devs.

NOTE: The hours played displayed do not reflect my experience, I played it on a different platform first and bought it on Steam for a pending co-op playthrough.

The graphics are mediocre, looks very PS3/X360 and runs pretty poorly for that output.

Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. One more theme was raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and is not shown.
