The story is good and flollow the Evenicle lore around the Sentinel's illnes and probably as we go far into the game we will know it's origins like the first one.

Yes, the illnesses can be a hassle, but for me the grinding is less monotonous and you can take advantage of some of the diseases (though that depends on fine-tuning of later illnesses).
