Which makes replaying for different endings relatively painless, but causes a few minor gripes in the story presentation as certain things end up feeling a bit out of place if done a certain way [hang out with one boy 10 days, then the other boy 2 days and there's no logical progression of what hanging out with the first boy 10 times results in plotwise, since the game was programmed to give you that solution only if you you do 11:1).
