On the positive side, the pixel art presentation, characters and soundtrack certainly delivered and made the experience that much more enjoyable.
I wasn't expecting much out of it in the first place since this is a game with clear focus on gameplay over story, and I was fine with that.
The pixel art style is vibrant and full of personality, reminding me of classic Game Boy Advance games, but with a modern fluidity.

I played it all on Steam Deck, there's only the issue of the game running letterboxed with blue bars.
