What players think
The recurring themes across 184 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The new characters are complete stereotypes which could be fine, but we're delving into their backstories and supposed to empathize and like them when even at the end they're still basically cardboard cutouts.
Very satisfying to play, great art style, believable (if pulpy) storytelling, a pleasant variety of the core gameplay mechanics with the 4 different player characters.
Leaning towards style than realism, the graphics in this game are fantastic.
Sound design is top notch as well, from the blood-sliding to the satisfying noise of a corpse landing in the trunk of your car.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. One more theme was raised by fewer than 4 sampled reviews and is not shown.
