The gameplay loop works incredibly well.
The art style is sharp, distinctive and full of personality, and the atmosphere is honestly one of the best parts of the whole experience.
Atmosphere: The "Rainpunk" aesthetic and the soothing (yet slightly tense) soundtrack create an atmosphere that is incredibly easy to sink back into.
When you win, YOU CAN CONTINUE playing with your settlement, but it's not fun, because everything is optimized and autonomous.
I played this game a lot on PC, but have at least 300hours now on steam deck and I can only recommend it on the handheld.
All in all a satisfying game, well worth the price, especially with the DLC
