I really like how it delivers an experience of a typical fps from late 90s while neatly adding some of the modern gameplay mechanics but still retaining that old-school feel.

Every single FPS I've played within the same genre space have only gotten BETTER as they've progressed, with Dusk almost blossoming into a work of art in some specific levels, Incision only ramping up from the beginning, and Cultic improving throughout.
