Despite being basically the creation of a solo dev, Kinnikuneko has some pretty nice animated bits, makes its simple and cute story work, has a very nice OST, and even manages to have a fairly epic finale.

The soundtrack is a synth-heavy banger, and the hand-drawn art style nails that grainy, cel-shaded anime look with just the right amount of CRT fuzz.
