you get a fully voiced story with decent story telling that help drive the game , challenging level designs and 3 different difficulty level to suit your taste. you get obviously different type of powerup that each have their strenght in specific levels.
-There's a mildly amusing story, with decent voice acting, involving endless love triangles between all the major characters.
SMB3's gameplay was compelling because of its sense of exploration, with its mountains of golden bricks hiding cool secrets or powerups if you whack them with your raccoon tail, kick them with shells, or find P-switches to change them all into coins.
The visuals are quite good at being a blend of the quality of Mario 3 yet the detail of Mario world.
Works perfectly fine on Steam Deck.
There are several good powerup suits to try out, and even an inventory to store collectible items, which you can even use mid-level if you'd like.
