Story is good, but I would've liked if the 'ominous' parts went a bit more darker.
They obviously help with the gameplay very well, but they’re also wonderfully charming in their own way.
The soundtrack is especially enriching, the ost kicks into high gear and adds lyrics to combat songs during fusions and the main track for your base and cafe is utterly perfect.
The music and art style are excellent, although the battle music is reused so often that it becomes repetitive.
I have not played the online multiplayer, but I'm excited to turn some friends on to this game so I can team up and defeat some of the cool multiplayer raid bosses.
Infact the way the world opens up is excatly how a open world pokemon should do it. please add shader compilation it can stutter on steam deck noticably in the first couple mins of every play session
